Saeima committee supports preserving Latvian Television, Radio brands

On Wednesday, the Saeima’s Human Rights and Public Affairs Committee both supported the retention of the historic brands of Latvian Television (LTV) and Latvian Radio, and decided to propose, in a separate draft law, that the news services of LTV and Latvian Radio should not be merged, LSM.lv reports.
