Tinned food and three days of bottled water? Fine. But European citizens stockpiling ignores a grim factor: your neighbours will become your enemies

A friend of mine recently proudly showed me her cellar, stocked with three to four weeks of water and food. “Of course, we’ll be sharing it with the neighbours” she said.But the only thought in my head was “After three to four weeks of no food, no electricity, no internet and no water, you’ll be fighting your neighbours off, no inviting them in.”
