No new taxes, no new spending, promises Latvian Finance Minister

The coming years in Latvia will be years of austerity, control and reform, with no additional spending and wage freezes likely in the public sector, according to Finance Minister Māris Kučinskis (United List) speaking in an interview on the Latvian Radio programme "Krustpunktā" ("At the Crossroads") on October 22nd.
