Volvo Cars announces plans to cut 2,000 jobs in Sweden

Volvo Cars plans to cut 2,500 jobs, some 2,000 of which are based in Sweden, as it seeks to save 5 billion kronor a year to improve profitability, the company said in an announcement on Friday. Meanwhile, AB Volvo reports strong returns.
